Carroll Co. Sheriff's Department Looking For Hit And Run Driver

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office needs your help in locating a hit and run driver. A Deputy responded to Worthville on Thursday afternoon February 21, 2019. A dark colored SUV operated by a white female with dark hair struck the rear of a blue Chevrolet and then left the scene after dropping off a female passenger near the CSX terminal. 



Deputies searched the area and were unable to locate the vehicle which was last seen headed toward 227. The SUV suffered front end damage and a grill was recovered near the CSX building. A partial KY license plate 1816-- (possibly a veteran's plate) was obtained by two witnesses. If you know the whereabouts of this vehicle please contact the sheriff's office.
