Carroll County Schools Set Tentative Return Date For February 25

Each school will be contacting families to notify them of when their student(s) will be able to return to the building.

(Carroll County, Ky.) – Carroll County School District students will be returning to the classroom soon.

Superintendent Danny Osbourne announced on Friday, January 22 that the school is putting together a plan that will allow more students to be in the building more frequently, for a longer period of time beginning on February 1.

School busses will be running Monday through Thursday at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to pick up and drop off students. Superintendent Osbourne stated that the busses will run on Fridays for meal deliveries only to those students who will not be attending in-person.

Each school will be contacting families to notify them of when their student(s) will be able to return to the building.

Superintendent Osbourne also announced that faculty will be receiving their second round of the COVID-19 vaccine on February 18.

The school is hoping that by February 25, all students will be able to return fully for in-person learning. State and local guidelines that are set for COVID-19 will be followed.
