Carrollton Police Investigate Threat To Schools

Three juveniles arrested

Wednesday night at approximately 9:00 PM Carrollton PD was contacted by an individual who had received a call from a blocked number. The caller made a comment about, "shooting up the school." No school was mentioned by name.

Carrollton Police were able to trace the call and bring in three juveniles in for questioning. Based on the investigation, the juveniles were taken into custody and charged with terroristic threatening.

Based on the investigation, there is no immediate threat to any of the Carroll County Schools.

Thanks to our concerned community member who notified Carrollton PD and to Carrollton PD for their quick response, investigation, and action to keep our students and our community safe.
