Chip Seal Operations Begin Tomorrow On U.S. 31 in Clark, Scott Counties

(Clark, Scott County, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will begin chip seal operations on a nine-mile section of U.S. 31 in Clark and Scott Counties tomorrow May 12.

The work will be taking place from State Road 160 in Henryville to approximately one mile south of Scottsburg near Curtsinger Drive. 

Chip seal projects typically last around three to four days per location depending upon the weather. With this project lane closures should be expected. 

Motorists should slow down, watch for stopped traffic, and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
