City of North Vernon Hosting a Retirement Ceremony For Officer James Webster

The ceremony will be taking place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14.

(North Vernon, Ind.) – The City of North Vernon will be hosting a retirement ceremony to celebrate Officer James Webster’s 27-year career.

Officer Webster began his career on January 1, 1994, and was sworn in as an officer by Mayor John Hall, according to the City of North Vernon. Throughout his career, he has served as a patrol officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Chief of Police, and firearms instructor.

The City of North Vernon stated that anyone is welcome to come by and give Officer Webster well wishes. The ceremony will be taking place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14 at Willow Lake Event Center.
