Charlestown – A Charlestown man was arrested today on weapons, drug, and child pornography charges.
On Thursday afternoon, Investigators with the Indiana State Police – Sellersburg Post, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested 62-year-old Kevin Lee Devine of Charlestown after investigators said he shared child pornography images with an undercover detective.
The investigation began this spring, and detectives used information gathered during the investigation to obtain a search warrant for Devine’s residence. During the search, Investigators located marijuana, weapons, and electronic devices. A forensic examination of the devices discovered digital photographs that were determined to contain images depicting child sexual abuse material on at least one of the devices.
As a result of the investigation and search, detectives arrested Kevin Devine for possession of child pornography, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, and possession of marijuana.
Devine was transported to the Clark County Jail without incident.
