(Madison, Ind.) - Clifty Falls State Park is launching a poster contest for students in Jefferson County.

The park is celebrating its centennial, and children K-12 are eligible to participate in the contest with one winner chosen from each category for kindergarten through fifth grade, sixth through eighth grade, and ninth through twelfth grade.

Posters must be no larger than 8.5 inches by 11 inches and must be illustrated by hand with only one entry per child.

The winning poster will then be turned into postcards that will then be sold at the Clifty Inn gift shop.

To enter submit your child’s poster along with a separate sheet of paper that includes their name, grade, and school, as well as your name and contact information. Entries will be judged by a panel of representatives from the DNR.

All posters will become the property of the DNR and may be used for postcard designs, office displays, promotions for this and any future DNR poster contest, and for Indiana State Parks promotions. For an entry form, you can click here.
