Charter Communications (Spectrum) is proud to announce a significant investment in Jefferson County, expanding rural broadband access and providing advanced Spectrum services to residents and business customers across the county. To highlight a milestone of the project, Charter’s Indiana Government Affairs team will host an event in partnership with Jefferson County on Tuesday, May 23rd from 3:30 – 5:00 PM EST at Fairfield INN & Suites by Marriot Madison, Historic Eagle Cotton Mill, located at 108 St., Michaels Avenue, Madison, IN 47250.

At the event, we will be joined by State Representative Randy Frye, Jefferson County Commissioners Dave Bramer and Robert Little and City of Madison Mayor Bob Courtney who will share thoughts on the impact of expansion in the area and efforts underway at the various levels of government to assist with broadband expansion and adoption efforts. Also, the Charter’s Government Affairs leaders, in partnership with Field Operations, will discuss the company’s ongoing commitment to expand rural broadband access and inform area stakeholders and elected officials about serviceability and service offerings. Additionally, we will open dialogue with a robust panel discussion featuring key area stakeholders to share collaborative experiences to help connect Indianans with much needed high-speed connections to power work, play and home life-balance.

At the conclusion of the program, Charter will announce a charitable donation to Jefferson County United way in the amount of $1,500 to further digital education engagement in the county and invite attendees to take part in a Fiber Splicing demonstration with Field Operations.

Charter is pleased to share the company’s commitment to expanding broadband and additional services that enable customers to power their work and grow their businesses and local economies in the rural communities we serve.
