Court: Governor Bevin Can Block People On Social Media

Your blocked

A federal judge isn't going to force Kentucky's governor to accept your friend request online.

Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove on Friday refused to issue an injunction that would have stopped Governor Matt Bevin from blocking people on social media.

The judge says the governor should be able to manage his online profile and stop it from being overrun by spam.

The ACLU is suing over the governor's blocked list, saying that blocking someone online is restricting their speech. The governor's office said on Friday that it welcomes the ruling.
