February Unemployment Rates Raise Slightly For Jefferson County

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development today released the unemployment rate for Indiana counties.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – Jefferson County saw a slight increase in unemployment rates for the month of February.

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development today released the unemployment rate for Indiana counties.

Currently, Jefferson County is ranked 43rd for unemployment percentage out of Indiana’s 92 counties. Even with the .1 percent increase seen from January to February, the county unemployment rate still remains lower than that of the state which is 4.7 percent.
