Fire Damages Home On Culls Ridge

Wind played problem in fighting the fire

At 6:45 p.m. yesterday Milton and Bedford Fire & Rescue along with Westside Fire Company were dispatched to the report of a structure fire at 421 Culls Ridge Rd.

Crews arrived on scene and found a house fully engulfed by flames.

The homeowner, Brian Marcello and his dog, were able to escape the fire unharmed.

The house was a total loss.

Fire cause has not yet been determined.

High winds yesterday helped fuel the fire causing it to spread fast.

To get started, download your Park Hop Passport. It lists the parks and nature preserves, and the clues for each one. Prizes available for youth (ages 18 and under) that complete all clues at 1,5, or 10 parks. Submitting all clues for more than 10 parks will enter youth into the grand prize drawing. Families can have fun and claim kids' prizes at our Park Hop Celebration on April 6th, from 1-2 pm at Heritage Park.
