Fire Destroys Home In Lancaster Township

Homeowners where not home at time of the blaze

                                      

A modular home in Lancaster was a complete loss following a fire that occurred early Monday morning, following the storms on Sunday in which Power lines in the area were downed. Utility workers were in the area of the 6400 block of 800 North and found the structure fire, Madison Township Fire Department was the fire department on scene and found the home to be fully engulfed. The fire took firefighters about two and half hours to extinguish. According to the Fire Chief of Madison Township there were power surges into the home during the restoration of power. The homeowners were not home at the time of fire. The was deemed at total loss.
