Fire Hydrant Flushing for Downtown Madison

The dates for the flushing will be from Tuesday, March 24 through Friday, March 27 beginning at 7:00 a.m. daily.

(Madison, Ind.) - The City of Madison Water Department has scheduled hydrant flushing for downtown Madison starting next week.

The dates for the flushing will be from Tuesday, March 24 through Friday, March 27 beginning at 7:00 a.m. daily.

In case of inclement weather or water emergencies, these dates and times are subject to changes and will be announced.

If residents experience dirty water after the hydrants are flushed, the department recommends running cold water only until the water runs clear.
