Flood Warning In Effect Until 10:37 a.m. Sunday

If you are in these areas or see roads with high water, it is advised to avoid the areas and take an alternate route.

(Madison, Ind.) – The National Weather Service out of Louisville has issued a flood warning for the Ohio River at Clifty Creek.

This flood warning is from Thursday evening to Sunday morning at 10:37 a.m.

The river is expected to rise about flood stage Thursday event to a crest of 451.8 feet Friday evening. It will then fall below the flood stage early Sunday morning. Areas that are impacted are Hanover Beach (closed), lower parts of Milton, Kentucky, and the public landing at Madison.

If you are in these areas or see roads with high water, it is advised to avoid the areas and take an alternate route.
