(Friendship, Ind.) – For over 20 years, the Friendship State Bank has been honoring the legacies of Wilke S. and James W. Lemon through scholarships.

This year the community bank would like to award five high school seniors who have shown a commitment to their community a $1000 scholarship for college.

High school seniors who attend a high school in Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, or Jefferson counties are eligible to apply. Applicants must complete the application and write a short essay describing one community involvement that impacted both the applicant and the community.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, April 5.

To apply, you can download all instructions and the application from the bank’s website or request an application from your school guidance department.

All completed applications may be submitted by mail or email. For any further questions you can contact Heather Davies, Friendship State Bank scholarship administrator, at (812) 667-5101 or hdavies@friendshipstatebank.com.
