Governor Bevin is expected to sign a Holocaust education bill

Ann Klein and Fred Gross Holocaust Education Act

Governor Bevin is expected to sign a Holocaust education bill into law.

The Ann Klein and Fred Gross Holocaust Education Act was unanimously passed by the Senate last week.  The House passed the bill earlier in the month.

The legislation calls for every public middle and high school in the state to include in their curriculum instruction on the Holocaust and other acts of genocide.

If Bevin does sign the legislation, Kentucky would join eight other states that require some Holocaust and genocide education.
