Hanover Fire Department Called Out Sunday For Structure Fire

To aid Johnson Twp Fire Company

Chief Meredith with the Hanover Fire Department states at approximately 5:05am on Sunday August 18, 2019, Hanover and Deputy Fire Departments was requested by the Johnson Fire Department ( Blocher ) Scott County to assist them with a structure fire at 6616 East Polk Road.

When Johnson fire department arrived on location they found a fully involved structure fire.

Chief Meredith states tankers from both departments was sent to the scene for water supply.

The structure, which was located just east of SR 3 south of 256, was a total loss and no injuries was reported.

At the time of this release the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Johnson fire department.

Both departments remained on location till 7:30am.
