Hanover Police Investigating Vehicle Break Ins

Late evening of Friday, March 30th, and/or the morning hours of Saturday, March 31st

The Hanover Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating several reports of vehicle break ins that occurred late in the evening of Friday, March 30th, and/or into the morning hours of Saturday, March 31st.

If you are a victim and have not reported it to any Law Enforcement Agency please PM HPD or contact us at 812-866-2131 ext. 32. to file a report.

Even if no items were taken from your vehicle it is still a crime to enter a motor vehicle without authorization.

The person will need to provide their contact phone number, address, location of the crime, vehicle information, what was taken or damaged, and description of the incident.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is encouraged to contact HPD with the information.
