Madison Fire is investigating

The Madison Fire Department responded to the 300 block of Hargan Drive for the initial report of black smoke coming from a residence. The first arriving unit advised it was a working structure fire. It was confirmed that all occupants had exited the structure safely. The residence sustained major fire and smoke damage. There was slight radiant heat damage to another residence that was next door. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Madison Fire Department. Responding agencies include, Madison Fire Department, Madison Police Department, KDH EMS, Duke Energy and The Salvation Army.
