Hit and Run Leads to Discovery of Multiple Drugs, Arrest

While further investigating one individual attempted to escape custody but was immediately apprehended without further incident.

(Henry County, Ky.) – On Friday, May 15 deputies with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a hit and run in the Sulphur community.

During the investigation, deputies located the vehicle in question, and detained the individuals inside.

While further investigating one individual attempted to escape custody but was immediately apprehended without further incident.

Deputies located approximately 21.4 grams of heroin, Buprenorphine pills(suboxone), and U.S. currency.

One of the individuals was arrested on the charges of Trafficking a controlled substance (First degree), Second Offense Heroin, Attempted Escape, and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Opiates).

The suspect was lodged in the Oldham County Detention Center.
