Hydrant Flushing Scheduled For Downtown Madison

If residents are to experience dirty water after the hydrants are flushed, they should run cold water only until water runs clear. 

(Madison, Ind.) - The City of Madison Water Department has scheduled a hydrant flushing for downtown Madison. 

Hydrants will be flushed beginning on Monday, September 28 through Thursday, October 1 beginning at 8:00 a.m. daily. These dates and times are subject to change in case of inclement weather or water emergencies. 

If there are any changes to the schedule, the public will be notified. 

If residents are to experience dirty water after the hydrants are flushed, they should run cold water only until water runs clear. 

The Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to customers.
