No living family and few friends
A Indiana Vietnam War veteran with no living family and no means to be buried will soon have his peaceful resting place.
U.S. Army Spc. Larry W. Miller died May 30 at The Waters of Greencastle nursing home where he was cared for by the Hospice Heart to Heart organization over the past year.
The Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery and Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre have teamed up to help make this happen.
Miller will be laid to rest tomorrow (Tuesday, July 16th) and will receive full military honors.
The community is invited to salute Miller with visitation scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Indiana Veterans Memorial cemetery chapel. The funeral service and military honors will follow.
