Ivy Tech Madison Begins Classes March 23

Ivy Tech is still offering free books and tuition for all students

In 2019, Ivy Tech Community College introduced eight-week courses, a fast-paced step away from the standard 16-week model. The eight-week course model has expanded since its launch and has led to an overall higher student success rate.

With eight-week courses, there are more opportunities to become a student at Ivy Tech Madison. These additional start dates in March and October, giving students faster access to classes and the completion of credentials.

Ivy Tech Madison is currently enrolling students to start classes on March 23, 2022. The college encourages those interested to apply now to be ready to start class in March. Classes are offered in-person, online and virtually.

Interested students can visit IvyTech.edu/apply-now to begin the enrollment process. Applications to Ivy Tech are free and valid for two years. There also still time to file the 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If assistance with the enrollment process is needed, students are encouraged to contact the enrollment coaches at Ivy Tech Madison as soon as possible by calling 812-265-2580 or email at askmadison@ivytech.edu.

With the College’s Ivy+ approach to tuition, the cost of tuition has been frozen, and all required textbooks are free for the 2021-2022 academic school year and the 2022-2023 academic school year. Ivy+ also includes a flat tuition rate for students enrolled full-time in 12 or more credit hours, meaning students can take 13, 14, 15, or more credits and graduate faster at no extra cost.
