Kentucky State Police Investigate Fatal Collision in Henry Co. Ky

Investigation is ongoing

                                      

PORT ROYAL, Ky. (09/06/2022) – On Tuesday September 06, 2022 at approximately 6:15 am Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a 911 call in reference to a single vehicle collision in Henry County on Port Royal Road. 

A post 5 trooper responded to the scene.  The preliminary investigation indicates a 2012 Jeep was traveling south on Port Royal Road.  The operator of the vehicle failed to negotiate a turn causing the vehicle to exit the roadway at which time it struck a tree.  The Henry County Coroner responded to the scene and pronounced the operator deceased.  The operator was identified as Frances Beverly, a 60 year old female of Turners Station.  Net of kin has been notified. 

The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by Kentucky State Police Post 5.
