There were no other vehicles involved in the collision, and criminal charges are not anticipated.

(Trimble County, Ky.) - Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg are investigating a single-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a 17-year-old Trimble County juvenile.
Just after 7:00 p.m., Post 5 was dispatched to the 5000 block of U.S. 421 in Trimble County.
The initial investigation found that the vehicle attempted to negotiate a curve, lost control, and then left the roadway before hitting several trees and nearly overturning. The vehicle then came to a rest on its side.
The juvenile operator of the vehicle was transported to Baptist Health in LaGrange for suspected minor injuries. The other occupant of the vehicle, a 17-year-old from Bedford, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Trimble County Coroner.
There were no other vehicles involved in the collision, and criminal charges are not anticipated. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
