The vehicle had been traveling northbound when it failed to negotiate a curve.

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) - In the early morning hours of Sunday, December 27, the Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg responded to a single-vehicle collision on Pendleton Road in Henry County.
When troopers arrived on the scene, they determined that the vehicle had been traveling northbound when it failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle then left the roadway and overturned.
The driver was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital, and the passenger, a 16-year-old male, from Shelby County, Kentucky was pronounced deceased by the Henry County coroner.
The investigation is ongoing by The Kentucky State Police Post 5 reconstruction team.
