Kentucky State Police Post 5 Investigating Thefts

Vehicles that have been entered were reported to have been unlocked.

                                          

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) - Kentucky State Police Post 5 has recently experienced a rash of break ins and vehicle thefts in the post area.  Post 5 includes Carroll, Trimble, Henry, Gallatin, Owen, and Oldham county. 

Vehicles that have been entered were reported to have been unlocked.  The Kentucky State Police are requesting people be sure to lock their vehicles and to secure weapons and other valuable items someplace other than in a vehicle when it is unoccupied. 

The Kentucky State Police Post 5 is requesting anyone with any information to contact post and for anyone with cameras to review the footage from the previous two nights for any suspicious activity.  This activity could include but not limited to unknown vehicles or persons on or near people's property.
