Lifeguards Needed As Most IN State Park Public Pools Set to Open

Most pools will open Memorial Day weekend if properly staffed with lifeguards.

(Madison, Ind.) – Indiana State Parks are set to open this season and lifeguards are needed.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says that most public swimming pools at Indiana State Park properties will open Memorial Day weekend if the required number of lifeguards can be recruited and certified for each park property.

Lifeguards are needed at area state parks such as Clifty Falls and Versailles.

Applications are open to those 16 and older. For more information, you can contact the state park property nearest to you at www.stateparks.IN.gov.

DNR also stated that concession services will be open at the pools.
