Madison Board of Trustee Looking To Fill Vacant Spot

(Madison, Ind.) – Due to a recent resignation of a board member, the Madison Consolidated School Board of Trustees is announcing that they would like to gather a notice of intent from candidates.

Those who wish to be considered as a possible candidate for service on the board, effective upon the appointment by the Board of School Trustees, until December 31, 2022.

In order to be considered as a nominee for the position, a person must reside in the School Board District No. 2, which is described as follows:

  • Precinct 4-1
  • Precinct 4-1A
  • Precinct 4-2
  • Precinct 4-3
  • Precinct 5-1
  • Precinct 5-2

The notice of intent should contain a statement of reasons as to why the candidate wishes to be considered. The notice of intent must be submitted to:

The deadline for submission of the notice of intent is 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020. The notation “Notice of Intent for Board Vacancy” must be placed in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope.
