The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce has accepted the resignation of Cassey Higdon.  Ms. Higdon has worked at the Chamber as the Membership Service Specialist since 2017.   She will be leaving Wednesday, April 13th, to focus on growing her own business, Arts by Cassey, LLC.

“During my time here I have been a part of starting and designing the Madison Chamber magazines, The Guide to the Madison Indiana Area,  organizing the Chamber's first Cash Mobs, as well as implementing the new Chamber Cash e-Gift Card program.  I have been a part of growing Soup, Stew, Chili, and Brew as well as increasing revenue for the Chamber's other major events. During my tenure, the Chamber implemented new member benefits while increasing our presence by collaborating with community organizations." Cassey Higdon continued, "Working for the Chamber has helped me to further my graphic design knowledge and allowed me to incorporate my creativity into everyday tasks. I will miss the many Chamber members I have worked with over the years, however, I hope to continue building professional relationships with these businesses and work with them again in the future.” stated Cassey Higdon

“I have enjoyed working with Cassey during my time on the Board.  We appreciate Cassey’s work with the Chamber.  Although sad she is leaving we are happy for her as she pursues her dreams.  We wish her much success”  Cari Morrison-Bear, Board President.
