Two cuties

I'm "JOSLIN".

I love to be with people and want a family that will let me be a snuggly, lap puppy.
I'm a really good girl who loves to lay my head in your lap so you can rub my silky, soft ears.
I will stare at you with my big brown eyes until you do.
I'm considered "Special Needs".
I came to the shelter with a nasty injury on my leg that has healed well.
The doctor originally said I'd need my leg amputated, but I'm using it more even though there is nerve damage.
I'm going to wear a 'boot' to help me place my foot correctly so it doesn't drag.
And if all goes well, I won't need surgery.
If I do need surgery, the shelter will provide financial assistance to my adopter.

I'm a 3- to 5-year-old Black & Tan Coonhound mix who weighs 43 lbs.
I will make a great family dog. I just love everyone!

I'm "MARY".

I love to play fetch! Play with me at the shelter and we'll have a blast.
I'm a very sweet and loving girl looking for a special forever home.
I need someone with time and patience so that I can continue to heal from my past.
I will need someone experienced in working with a dog who's had trust issues.
I was extremely shy when I came to the shelter and just wanted to run away from people.
The staff has worked with me for two months and I'm proud to say that I'm ready for adoption.
The staff will ask you a lot of questions to make sure we're a good fit before I get to go home with you.
My family will need to be willing to continue to work with me and provide me with the love and security I need.
My adopter does need to have a fenced yard and/or be able to walk me on a leash at all times.
My adopter also will need to promise to buy me lots and lots of balls to chase.
And promise to throw them for me too!
I'm a 3- to 5-year-old Hound mix who weighs 40 lbs.
I'm $30 off my adoption & spay fees to help me get a home.
Being at the shelter in the winter is no fun. I want a cozy home and family to love.
