Madison Man Arrested Following Traffic Stop

December 18, 2021, Madison Police arrested Paul D. Hatfield 59, Madison, Indiana, for possession of methamphetamine L-5 felony and possession of a handgun w/o permit "A" misdemeanor. 

Madison Police Patrolman Kyle Potter made the arrest after stopping Hatfield for a traffic violation on Clifty Driver.  Officer Potter observed methamphetamine in Hatfield's vehicle and located a handgun during the subsequent search. 

Hatfield has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
