Madison Man Arrested For Running Nude On Hilltop

Thursday Morning , @ approximately 7:30 AM Madison Police responded to State Street reference a male subject running nude in the area of Prince of Peace Catholic Schools.  The male subject was last observed running through the wooded area south of the schools.  

Additional calls were received a short time later reference a nude male in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive.  Sergeant William Watterson responded to the area and located Anthony T. Romans 24, Madison, Indiana, nude.  Romans was taken into custody without further incident and charged with public nudity.  

In addition to the nudity charges, Romans had an active arrest warrant for probation violation.  Romans probation violation charge stems from previous charges of possession of methamphetamine, paraphanailia and visiting a common nuisance.  

Sergeant Watterson was assisted by Jordan Perry, school resource officers Tim Armstrong and Yancy Denning. Romans has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
