MADISON MAN ARRESTED ON CHILD MOLESTATION CHARGES

                                   

In February 2024, Kevin M. Fox, 30, Madison, was arrested by the Madison Police Department for two (2) counts of Possession of Child Pornography after investigators received a cyber tip regarding Fox's online activities. As part of Fox's February 2024 arrest, investigators obtained warrants to search Fox's electronic devices. In late September 2024, a new investigation, led by MPD Detectives Kyle Cutshaw and Ricky Harris, was opened into Fox after investigators discovered evidence of child sexual abuse. Detective Cutshaw was granted a warrant for Fox's arrest out of the Jefferson County Superior Court. 

On October 1, 2024, Fox was apprehended in Bedford, Kentucky by the Kentucky State Police. Fox is currently housed in the Oldham County (KY) Detention Center where he awaits extradition to Jefferson County. Detectives Cutshaw and Harris were assisted by MPD Detective Phillip Wimpee, the Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office, the Indiana State Police, the Kentucky State Police, the Trimble County Sheriff's Department, the United States Secret Service, the Children's Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana, and the Indiana Department of Child Services. This investigation is still on-going and more criminal charges could be forthcoming.

Child Molestation - Level 1 Felony - (3) counts

Production of Child Pornography - Level 4 Felony - (3) counts

Sexual Misconduct with a Minor - Level 5 Felony - (1) count

Bond: $250,000.00
