Madison Man Arrested On Domestic Violence Charges, Interference With 911 Call

The investigation was led by Madison Police Department Patrolman Brad Demaree and assisted by Madison Police Officers Zackery Nicholson, Trent Smith, and Aaron Watson.

(Madison, Ind.) – Yesterday Thursday, April 30, officers with the Madison Police Department took 23-year-old Jackson E. Stakelin of Madison into custody for domestic battery charges.

Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Third Street on the report of a domestic battery incident. After speaking with the victim, who was holding a small child, officers established probable cause to arrest Stakelin.

Stakelin was arrested on the charges of domestic battery with injury and domestic battery in the presence of a child, criminal confinement, and interference with a 911 call, he was then transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he awaits his initial court appearance.
