Madison Police Get Another Meth Dealer Off The Streets

MADISON MAN ARRESTED FOR DEALING METHAMPHETAMINE

Marvin W. Samuels, age 42, Madison, was arrested on dealing and possession of methamphetamine charges after several months of investigation, led by Sr. Patrolman Aaron Watson. Beginning in December 2018, Sr. Patrolman Watson received information identifying Marvin W. Samuels as a source of methamphetamine in Jefferson County. Based on the information an investigation was initiated, and through that investigation Sr. Patrolman Watson, Detective Kyle Cutshaw, and Detective Ricky Harris were able to conduct several controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Samuels. During one of the controlled methamphetamine purchases, a firearm was purchased from Samuels as well. After the conclusion of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Samuels in the Jefferson Circuit Court.

On May 9, 2019 Sr. Patrolman Watson located Samuels in the downtown Madison area and arrested him on the active arrest warrant. Samuels was given a $50,000 cash bond at the time the arrest warrant was issued.
