Madison Police Officers Awarded Lifesaving Medal's of Honor

The overdoses occurred on February 2nd and February 3rd.

(Madison, Ind.) – Two Officers with the City of Madison Police Department were recognized for the lifesaving actions they took early last month.

Officers Cody Lewis and Jordan Perry were presented with Lifesaving Medal’s of Honor on Tuesday.

These awards were earned following two separate reports of overdose victims. Upon arrival, both officers were able to conduct CPR and administer Narcan to the victims to stabilize them before medical staff from Kings Daughters Health were able to arrive.

A third officer, Josh Nolan, was also mentioned but will be receiving his medal at the next City of Madison City Council meeting.
