State Road 256 was closed for 3 hours, in the 11000 block,fRIDAY evening due to a fatal collision.
33-year-old Aaron Jones of Georgetown was traveling East in a Fed Ex delivery van. Jones was attempting to turn left into a driveway.
73-year-old David Kidwell was traveling West on a 2016 Indian motorcycle.
The driveway that Jones was attempting to turn into is in a series of hills. Neither driver was able to see the other. The motorcycle collided with the Fed Ex van.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office pronounced Kidwell deceased at the scene.
Mr. Kidwell's relatives have been notified. Our thoughts are with them.
