MPD Arrest Madison Man On Rape, Sexual Misconduct With A Minor

Police were assisted by the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children, in this ongoing investigation.

(Madison, Ind.) – Early this morning, officers with the City of Madison Police, arrested a Madison man on the preliminary charges of two-level four felonies.

Rodney Estes, 43, was arrested on the alleged charges of rape, and sexual misconduct with a minor.

On April 30, City of Madison Police Detectives Ricky Harris and Kyle Cutshaw led an investigation into a report of ongoing sexual abuse. As a result of the investigation, in which a minor child was reportedly the victim, officers obtained a search warrant for Estes’ residence.

Police were assisted by the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children, in this ongoing investigation.

Estes is currently incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail.
