New Boil Water Advisory Issued in Milton KY

Precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued in Milton, KY due to low pressure-no water

Issued October 15, 2019...A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for the Milton KY Water & Sewer customers who live from 11626 Hwy 421 to 10430 Hwy 421, Riverview Dr, Moffett Rd, Churchwood Apts, Agin Estates, McCord Ln, Peck Pike Rd, and the following roads: Douglas Ln, Luckett Ln, Gossom Ln, Moreland Ct, Plainview Ct, Watson Tandy Rd, Waynes Ln, Campbell Hill Rd, Buchanan Ln, Powell Hill Rd, Adams Rd, Handlon Ln, Rodgers Rd, Hubbards Ln, and any locations that had low pressure or no water.

Although no contamination has been confirmed, we recommend that when your water service resumes you: Bring ALL water to a rolling boil, let it boil for 3 minutes, and let it cool before using. OR use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. 

Boiling water kills bacteria and other organisms in the water. 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. this advisory is being issued as precautionary action and will be lifted with the approval of the Kentucky Division of Water. When all appropriate laboratory testing is completed and the Kentucky Division of Water allows us to lift the advisory we will inform you when you no longer need to boil your water.
