Kentucky State Police Post 5 Trooper Involved in Accident

Bedford, KY. (December 28, 2021) –On Tuesday December 28, 2021 at approximately 2:32 am Trooper Zach Napier was responding to an active domestic violence complaint in Trimble County.  While navigating a turn on wet roadway conditions the cruiser lost traction and exited the left shoulder of the roadway.  After exiting the roadway the cruiser struck multiple trees. 

Trimble County EMS responded to the scene and transported Trooper Napier to The University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of his injuries.  Trooper Napier has since been released from the hospital and is recovering.
