Nine Arrested In Scott Co. Over The Weekend

All arrest were on separate occasions

(Scott County, Ind.) - On March 12, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer made contact with Seymour Police Department and arranged to meet with them in regards to an outstanding arrest warrant.  Anthony Tilford, 27, of Columbus, IN, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear if Charge was a Felony.  He was remanded to the Scott County Jail.

On March 13, 2021, Deputy Zach Brown and Corporal Charlie Morgan checked a suspicious person call in Austin.  An investigation led to the arrest of two people on drug related charges.  Katherine Bowman, 44, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug At Least 5 grams but Less Than 10 Grams and Possession of Paraphernalia.  Enick White, 42, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug At Least 5 Grams but Less Than 10 Grams and Possession of Methamphetamine.  Deputies were also assisted by the Austin Police Department.

On March 13, 2021, Corporal Charlie Morgan made contact with the Clark County Sheriff's Office and arranged to meet with them in regards to an outstanding arrest warrant.  Steven Perry, 45, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear if Charge was a Felony.  He was remanded to the Scott County Jail.

On March 13, 2021, Corporal Charlie Morgan and Deputy Zach Brown were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Joshua Ohanis, 28, of Scottsburg for Operating as an Habitual Traffic Violator, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated With a Prior and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person.

On March 13, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman and First Sergeant Keith Hartman responded to a trespassing call at a local business in Scottsburg.  Upon arrival Edward Akers, 41, of Scottsburg was arrested for Criminal Trespassing, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

On March 13, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman and First Sergeant Keith Hartman responded to a report of reckless driving in Scottsburg.  As a result the vehicle was located and an investigation led to the arrest of Linda Jent, 67, of Scottsburg for Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Possession or Use of a Legend Drug, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Operator Never Licensed, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Possession of Paraphernalia.  Deputies were assisted by the Scottsburg City Police Department.

On March 13, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman and First Sergeant Keith Hartman responded to a suspicious person in rural Scott County that was possibly wanted on a warrant.  Upon arrival James Winchester, 25, of New Albany, IN, was arrested on an outstanding Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear.

On March 14, 2021, Deputy Zach Brown responded to Scottsburg for a suspicious person call.  Upon arrival Steven Oneal, 31, of Scottsburg was arrested for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Escape, Flees from Lawful Detention.
