Warrant out of Fort Knox

North Vernon Police arrested a Jennings Co. man over the weekend for Military Desertion.

At about 12:20 p.m. Saturday, officers conducted a traffic stop on Buckeye Street and during the stop, officers learned that 37-year-old Scott Burton, of North Vernon, was arrested on the warrant, out of Fort Knox, Kentucky.

According to the Army Most Wanted Fugitives website, United States Army
Office of the Provost Marshal General, has been looking for Burton since his desertion date of November 30, 2004.
