Ohio Valley Opportunities Energy Assistance Program

(Madison, Ind.) – If you are struggling to make ends meet during the time of this pandemic the Ohio Valley Opportunities Energy Assistance Program is here to help you.

If you are needing assistance with your electric or gas bill or you heat your home with wood pellets or firewood, now it the time to apply so you can stock up for the start of next winter. The winter program is now running through July, and you may be eligible.

Households that have been affected directly by COVID-19 layoffs you can call Ohio Valley Opportunities to see if you qualify under their “drastic loss of income” guidelines. As always, these particular funds are only available until they run out, so do not delay your application process.

You can get an application by calling 812-265-5858, you can also visit any of the Ohio Valley Operation centers to pick up an application, or you can apply online by visiting www.ovoinc.org.
