Road will be closed from 9am-4pm
SWITZERLAND COUNTY, Ind.— Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close a section of S.R. 56 on or after Wednesday, Nov. 17, to replace a pipe in Switzerland County. The road is scheduled to close from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Vevay and Madison, just east of Spring Branch Road. Thru traffic should use an alternate route during the closure.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
