(New York, NY.) – As healthcare works across the country continue to work around the clock due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Send Thanks Now has launched a new online giving platform.

This platform helps users send virtual thank you gifts directly to healthcare workers across all 50 states, which will be delivered to their inbox at 7:00 p.m. every day.

To coincide with National Nurses Week and 2020 officially being named “International Year of the Nurse,” the platform has been created to inspire and enable society to send their gratitude directly to those on the frontlines.

The company has built a national registry of thousands of hospitals and nursing homes that can be searched on the platform, users can then send gifts within a matter of seconds.

“Over the last few months, our country has really come together to pay-it-forward, give back and honor those fighting on the frontlines – from food deliveries and coffee drops to the daily 7:00 p.m. thank you neighborhood cheers,” said Adi Segal, Co-Founder of SendThanksNow.com. “We wanted to create a platform where anyone could express their gratitude to these workers firsthand, and so far, we’ve sent thanks to over 5,000 healthcare providers across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.”

To send gifts you can visit the website and manually enter or search for a giftee who works in the healthcare industry.

Users will then be prompted to provide their giftee’s email address, and then choose how many virtual hearts they want to send as their gift. Every 100 hearts are equal to $1 and are then placed within the giftees’ hearts wallet upon receipt.

On the recipient's end, they will receive their hearts on the platform and be notified over email at 7:00 p.m. that same day. Hearts can be accrued within each healthcare worker’s heart wallet and are redeemable towards hundreds of household name partners – from grocery stores to coffee shops and more.

SendThanksNow is continuing to build its national registry of hospitals and nursing homes, along with the individuals who work there daily, so it’s easy for users to register, as well as find exactly who they want to thank.
