INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs is bringing back their “Operation Back to School” program this summer.

The program allows Indiana Veteran families experiencing financial hardship to apply for $500 per dependent child for back-to-school expenses.

Families can apply for children K-12 (up to age 18) or full-time college students (up to age 23) that live in the veteran’s home.

The program will begin on June 1 and end on August 31. Any applications received or any that are incomplete after 4:00 p.m. on August 31 will be denied.
