(Jeffersonville, Ind.) - A random registration check leads to the arrest of the owner of the vehicle on multiple charges on Monday.
Troopers Andrew Taylor and Clay Boley were patrolling in Jeffersonville Monday around 12:30 p.m.
As the two came to a stop at the traffic light on 10th Street, Trooper Taylor ran the license plate on the vehicle in front of them.
The Troopers were then notified by the plate that the owner, Myron V. Conley, 51, of Jeffersonville, was wanted out of Clark County due to a prior Methamphetamine offense.
After confirming Conley’s identity and wanted status, the officers continued the investigation, leading to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and heroin in his possession.
Conley was arrested and transported to the Clark County Jail where he was charged with the following, Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 5 Felony), Possession of Narcotic Drug- Heroin (Level 6 Felony), Possession of syringe (Level 6 Felony), and Warrant- Violation of Pre-Trial Placement.
