Scott County-On August 6, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer met with a Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy in reference to serving an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Justin Jones, 33, of Madison, IN, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape, Failure to Return to Lawful Detention.  Justin Jones was housed at the Scott County Security Center.

On August 6, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer attempted to conduct a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  The suspect vehicle fled and was later located.  An investigation led to the arrest of Jacob Fugate, 29, of Scottsburg for Resisting Law Enforcement Using a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespass, Fraud and False Informing.

On August 6, 2021, Deputy Skylar Thompson responded to rural Scott County for the report a suspicious vehicle.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Jedidiah Thomes, 44, of Jeffersonville, IN, for Operating While Intoxicated.

On August 7, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Darin Hall, 24, of Deputy, IN, for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Operating a Vehicle With a B.A.C. of 0.08 or More and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated With a Prior.

On August 8, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman responded to rural Scott County for the report of a suspicious person.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Amy Rainbolt, 34, of Scottsburg for Possession or Use of a Legend Drug, Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Trafficking With an Inmate.
