Ripley Co. Health Department Reports Fake Phone Calls

The caller tells the business that they must close due to the county being in the red COVID-19 metric.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Recently, the Ripley County Health Department stated that there have been several businesses in the area that have received fake phone calls regarding COVID-19 and closures.

The caller tells the business that they must close due to the county being in the red COVID-19 metric.

The Ripley County Health Department would like all businesses and residents to know that these are fake calls, and at this time the county is currently in the orange level on the metric map. The metric is updated each Wednesday from the Indiana State Department of Health based on the data from the previous week.
